Miele's single 'click' Store-to-Door delivery system January 2012: BizOpt continues to support and enhance Miele Australia's e-Commerce system which underpins Miele's uncompromising customer service experience.  Whilst still in the retail store, pricing, stock availability, installation requirements and delivery dates are all dynamically communicated. No delayed batch interfaces here! Complete end-to-end integration. In fact, as soon as the order confirmation button is 'clicked', the customer's order is automatically created within their ERP system, and even assigned to a specific delivery truck!     BizOpt helps Sigma's new automated DC go live!

Updated! December 2010 - July 2011: Sigma Company Limited recently commissioned a new consolidated Distribution Centre in Melbourne.  This state-of-the-art facility incorporates Knapp automated (SDA/A-Frame) picking equipment, conveyors systems, despatch sortation robotics and Vocollect voice-picking. BizOpt Solutions proudly worked with Sigma, assisting with the operational Work-flow analysis, WMS design & configuration as well as specialised development of interfaces & database synchronisation between the central ERP (ASW/IBSe Pharma) and the Knapp Klass-x systems.  Process modelling, system design & custom development was also undertaken to enable conveyor-based Inwards Goods Put-away & Pick-face Replenishment processes incorporating 'scan to tray' functionality. Phase 2 of the warehouse automation project involved advanced optimisation of warehouse processes and the introduction of sophisticated (goods to person) picking & storage robotics. Specifically, a Knapp OSR ShuttleWorkstation. BizOpt's role included development of the required customised programs and system interfaces to integrate this equipment with their back-end ERP & Warehousing systems.    An example of a great partnership, and an excellent solution! BizOpt helps Remington move to SAP! September 2010: In a coordinated effort involving both the local Management Team and their US colleagues, Remington Products Australia (a subsidiary of Spectrum Brands) made a seamless ERP transition to SAP.  BizOpt assisted with the identification & mapping of the key Supply Chain processes (both system-related & operational), as well as change-management, training, cut-over activities and go-live support.
